Spitsbergen 2013
Magnum Photos photographer Jean Gaumy and artist Sandrine Paumelle went on a mission to Svalbard in November 2013. The artists produced a first body of work.

Greenland 2014
Jean Gaumy undertook a mission to Greenland with the team of Fréderic Olivier (National Museum of Natural History). He produced a second body of work that was featured in the solo exhibition presented at the MATMUT cultural space in Normandy (see catalog) Winter 2015.

Jean Gaumy will undertake a mission to Greenland with the team of Fréderic Olivier (National Museum of Natural History) and Laurent Chauvaud (CNRS).
Meeting in Dinard : January 2015
This week-long meeting in Brittany gathered all of the stakeholders in the project from France and Quebec: scientists, artists, the curator of the National Museum of Natural History in Paris and a Quebec sociologist who conducted the workshops.
The meeting proved to be a particularly constructive and rewarding moment for exchanging and sharing ideas.
The discussions were recorded and the conference proceedings will be made available..
