Ocean Spectrometry Pole (PSO)

The PSO concerns a set of innovative mass spectrometry equipment for the analysis of trace chemical elements and isotopes in natural samples of geological and biological origin. The project involves UBO (IUEM), CNRS, Ifremer and soon IRD by pooling complementary equipment specific to each organisation and equipment acquired jointly.

The PSO is a structuring tool for oceanographic research in the field of chemistry, biology and marine geochemistry carried out within the framework of the themes developed in the IUEM laboratories and through the LabexMER and the EUR ISblue 3, 4 and 6 axes.
