Je suis doctorante à l’Université de Bretagne Occidentale sur le projet LAMNA porté par l’Association pour l’Étude et la Connaissance des Sélaciens (APECS) dont le LEMAR est partenaire. J’étudie le rôle la zone côtière du Trégor-Goëlo dans le cycle de vie des femelles de requin-taupe commun (Lamna nasus, Bonnaterre 1788). Je m’intéresse aux déplacements des individus équipés de balises satellite ainsi qu’à l’écologie trophique de ceux-ci à travers la composition en isotopes stables du carbone et de l’azote.

Serre%22%7D%2C%7B%22creatorType%22%3A%22author%22%2C%22firstName%22%3A%22Charles-Andre%22%2C%22lastName%22%3A%22Timmerman%22%7D%2C%7B%22creatorType%22%3A%22author%22%2C%22firstName%22%3A%22Yves%22%2C%22lastName%22%3A%22Verin%22%7D%2C%7B%22creatorType%22%3A%22author%22%2C%22firstName%22%3A%22Mireille%22%2C%22lastName%22%3A%22Harmelin-Vivien%22%7D%5D%2C%22abstractNote%22%3A%22Investigating%20the%20drivers%20of%20fish%20assemblage%20trophic%20structure%20is%20a%20critical%20question%2C%20in%20order%20to%20better%20understand%20ecosystem%20functioning%2C%20predict%20the%20effects%20of%20perturbations%20and%20implement%20integrated%20management%20of%20exploited%20marine%20ecosystems.%20Ecosystemic%20surveys%20enabled%20the%20determination%20of%20the%20trophic%20structure%20of%20the%20fish%20assemblages%20in%20three%20French%20marine%20ecosystems%2C%20namely%20the%20Eastern%20English%20Channel%2C%20the%20Bay%20of%20Biscay%20and%20the%20Gulf%20of%20Lions%2C%20through%20the%20simultaneous%20collection%20of%20qualitative%20%28stable%20isotopes%20and%20energy%20content%29%20and%20quantitative%20%28biomass%29%20data.%20In%20the%20Bay%20of%20Biscay%20and%20in%20the%20Gulf%20of%20Lions%2C%20pelagic%20primary%20production%20supported%20at%20least%2080%25%20of%20the%20fish%20biomass%20production%2C%20and%20explained%20the%20dominance%20of%20pelagic%20species%2C%20but%20with%20differences%20resulting%20from%20the%20different%20productivity.%20The%20lower%20productivity%20in%20the%20oligotrophic%20Gulf%20of%20Lions%20led%20to%20a%20lower%20total%20biomass%2C%20energy%20density%20as%20well%20as%20the%20predominance%20of%20zooplankton-feeders.%20In%20contrast%2C%20fluxes%20in%20the%20Bay%20of%20Biscay%20were%20sufficient%20to%20support%20a%20higher%20biomass%20of%20pelagic%20piscivores%2C%20and%20of%20species%20with%20higher%20energy%20content.%20In%20the%20shallow%20Eastern%20English%20Channel%2C%20the%20respective%20contributions%20of%20pelagic%20and%20benthic%20sources%20were%20similar.%20Bentho-demersal%20species%20of%20higher%20trophic%20level%20dominated%20this%20assemblage%2C%20because%20of%20their%20ability%20to%20exploit%20both%20pathways.%20Results%20of%20the%20present%20study%20confirmed%20that%20fisheries-focused%20surveys%20can%20be%20used%20as%20efficient%20platforms%20to%20address%20questions%20about%20ecosystem%20functioning.%20Here%2C%20it%20confirmed%20the%20expected%20differences%20between%20ecosystems%20and%20the%20importance%20of%20primary%20production%20and%20environment%20as%20drivers%20of%20fish%20assemblage%20structure%20and%20functioning.%20Future%20studies%20should%20nevertheless%20develop%20new%20methods%20to%20better%20assess%20the%20paramount%20role%20of%20low%20trophic%20level%20consumers.%22%2C%22date%22%3A%22JUL%202020%22%2C%22language%22%3A%22English%22%2C%22DOI%22%3A%2210.1016%5C%2Fj.pocean.2020.102343%22%2C%22ISSN%22%3A%220079-6611%22%2C%22url%22%3A%22%22%2C%22collections%22%3A%5B%22348HK8H3%22%2C%22Y5CNVM8Y%22%5D%2C%22dateModified%22%3A%222021-05-29T17%3A37%3A08Z%22%7D%7D%5D%7D
