Movie: unstable baroclinic current (steep slope)
Vorticity field (blue: anticyclonic/ red: cyclonic) of an unstable baroclinic current over a steep bottom slope (To= -1.3). The vorticity was computed from PIV performed on the UME-LMD rotating plateform.
