My research focuses on how marine species cope with environmental variations and human-induced pressures. I primarily study population dynamics of sharks and rays, analyzing time series of abundance and biomass at different spatial scales. The goal is to determine population trajectories based on species’ life history strategies, quantify the impact of fishing, and provide scientific advice for the conservation and sustainable management of these species.
