Panorama

I am a marine biologist. My research focuses on the impact of environmental changes on seaweed physiology. I am interested in understanding how macroalgal-microbiome interactions rule seaweed physiological plasticity, premature senescence, and degradation.

I did my PhD at the Station Biologique de Roscoff (Sorbone University). Afterward, I worked in the private sector. In 2022, I started a postdoc at the IIM-CSIC (Spain) and the University of Jena (Germany). I arrived at the IUEM for a two-year postdoc on January 2023 (Bienvenue COFUND-MSCA) to work in the PANORAMA team under the supervision of Valérie Stiger-Pouvreau & Solène Connan. My research project seeks to understand how macroalgal-microbiome interactions and the environment regulate Sargassum spp. secondary metabolite production during their decay.
