This secondment was used for:

- complement the information on the spatial behaviour of seabirds and fishers (Tasks 2.2 and 2.3) by performing a biologging fieldwork on seabirds in Noronha (from 17/09/2018 to 28/09/2018);

- processing and analysing the biologging data collected on seabirds and artisanal fishing vessels collected in Noronha in September 2017, April 2018 and September 2018 (Task 2.3);

- supervising the research of an Supaero master student (Amédée Roy) on the year round behaviour of seabirds from Fernando de Noronha (Task 2.4);

- supervising the research of an UFAL PhD student (Samantha Pereira) on Brazilian artisanal fisheries (Task 2.3);

- supervising the research of an UFRPE master student (Tatiana Beltrão) on the artisanal fishery from Fernando de Noronha (Task 2.3) and drafting a paper: Beltrão T., Travassos P., Bertrand A., Bertrand S. Monitoring ‘To Big To Ignore’ small-scale fisheries: a pilot study on the Fernando de Noronha insular Brazilian fishery. In prep.;

- meeting with SEMAS - Secretaria de Meio Ambiente e Sustentabilidade Gerenciamento Costeiro de Pernamuco (Andrea Olinto);

- work with Beatrice Padovani on (1) biologging instruments for monitoring artisanal fishing fleets and (2) statistics for data analysis.
