This secondment was used to attend the PADDLE workshop « MSP in tropical Atlantic: governance and dynamics ». But also to meet colleagues and PADDLE partners from UFPE and UFRPE, work on the state of the art and planning future activities in Brazil. A consultation with the co-leader of WP2 (Dr. Arnaud Bertrand) took place. A field study , embedded in a CNPq granted project, in Salvador and Jaguaripe (BA), on the connectivity of mangroves with adjacent ecosystems and its relevance for MSP, was carried out.
