In interaction between UFPE, UFRPE, CNRS and IRD Sophie Bertrand organised a new field work around Fernando de Noronha to study fishers and seabird behaviour at sea (GPS, TDR, GLS deployement and recovery). The team recovered 30 GLS deployed last year and obtained tracking data with GPS from 16 individuals. This activity contributed directly to the task 2.3. After the fieldwork, the collected data were modelled in order to segment the tracks into different behavioural modes (travelling, searching, fishing) what contributed directly to the task 2.4 (Innovative use of data and models and ecosystem scenarios).
