How to integrate non-human actors in decision making within environmental governance and management? This secondment supports research on social-ecological networks (SEN) in environmental decision making processes and the inclusion of non-human actors as interacting units in such networks.

The results of interviews with a wide variety of actors (fishers, voluntary NGOs, economic sector, scientists and governmental actors) help to understand the different perspectives, values and desires for the usage of the bay and how those influence and develop within SEN concerned with the use of these resources.
The derived results from this secondment will contribute to understand how the (inter)actions within SEN impact the development of and participation during the planing of marine realms.
