Biography
Theresa Schwenke (ZMT, Social-Ecological System Analysis Working Group) is a early career scientist focusing on intra- and inter-species communication.
During her studies she examined chemical communication mechanisms of macro algae and vocalization of antarctic pinnipeds. Currently she is working on her dissertation entitled "Moving on: dynamics of a Social-Ecological Network and the implications for environmental management and governance".
Still dwelling from her strong background in marine biology she investigates the interrelations of human and non-human actors in the context of environmental management and governance in Brazil.
