Interdisciplinary workshop in Dakar, April 27 2022
The interdisciplinary seminar scheduled at the National Assembly of Senegal will take place on the 27th of April 2022

The general objective of the workshop is to contribute to the reinforcement of the capacities of the parliamentarians in order to give them tools on the implementation of the policies of governance of the marine and coastal space.


The specific objectives are to :

  • Strengthen their ability to think ahead and anticipate on marine spatial planning;
  • to promote a better knowledge of the history, challenges and opportunities of Marine Spatial Planning for Senegal;
  • prepare their involvement in future marine spatial planning in Senegal.
