2nd Interdisciplinary Workshop in Recife Brazil

The second interdisciplinary workshop of the PADDLE project took place at the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco UFPE (RECIFE, BRASIL), on November 27 and 28, 2019.

This workshop took profit of one of the annual meeting of the Intermational Mixed Laboratory Tapioca to foster discussions between oceanographers, biologists, ecologists, law and governance researchers on the following topic:

« The good, the beast and the ugly: integrating biodiversity conservation and artisanal fisheries in marine spatial planning while avoiding the risk of ocean grabbing by one of the many users of the space at sea».
