This secondment had several goals:

It served to study the legal enforcement of public participation in marine policies and state of the art of the existing legal texts about marine spatial planning in Brazil (See report).

Launch of a platform for exchanges on legal texts applicable to the marine environment in Brazil with the aim of collecting legal texts applicable to the marine environment in order to produce in the future an atlas of marine environmental law in Brazil. In this context, a number of decisions were taken: in particular, the choice to limit the atlas to two Brazilian States, Pernambuco and Sao Paulo.
