During my mobility with IRD in Brest, under the framework of PADDLE project, I developed various activities such as theoretical and practical trainings as well as several meetings with French experts to develop areas of cooperation with INDP (National Institute for Fisheries Development) and OSCM (Ocean Science Centre Mindelo).

We participated in the Summer school on the theme of Spatial Marine Planning (SMP), where I had the opportunity to assist to conferences from various experts (from Cape Verde, Senegal and Europe) and to concrete experiences. I presented my doctoral thesis project.

I had a working meeting with the PIRATA coordinator to see how to participate in the research campaigns to be held near Cape Verde next year. I contacted the director of LEMAR to discuss of the possible areas of cooperation. I also make contacts with specialists in the attempt to organize a hydroacoustic training course in Cape Verde with IRD specialists.

I had the opportunity to participate in a field work on the sea and I exchanged experiences with students of the international course of masters in oceanography.
