Biography
Mathias Rouan is a research Engineer in the LETG (Littoral Environment Remote-Sensing Geomatics) laboratory, part of the National Center for Scientific Research (Brest, France). He first studied marine biology and computer science and is now interested in both multi-agent modeling of human activities and cataloguing and diffusion of scientific data on the coastal environment. He is involved in methodological support for research projects and also coordinates the development of collaborative information systems. He manages indigeo (http://indigeo.fr) a Spatial Data Infrastructure dedicated to scientific research and observation of the coastal environment and is responsible for the RASTER (scientific and technical support network for research) composed of LETG engineers.
