Micro-onde ETHOS-ONE – Laboratoire Géosciences Océan

Caractéristiques : Le micro-onde Ethos One possède 2 magnétrons de 800W chacun, permettant de délivrer 1500W de puissance au maximum. Il est équipé d’un rotor SK-10 pouvant accueillir jusqu’à 10 liners en téflon, dont un servant de référence pour le suivi de la température.

Le contrôle de la température ainsi que la puissance du micro-onde permet un suivi précis et en temps réel de la réaction de dissolution.

Applications : Il permet une digestion facile et rapide d’un grand nombre d’échantillons géologiques. Cette réaction se déroule à haute pression et à haute température (jusqu’à 240 – 250°C), facilitant ainsi la digestion d’échantillons plus difficiles à attaquer.
