GIM Pole

Surface or deep investigation of coastal and deep oceanic domains and observation of the processes that take place at various spatial and temporal scales requires the development of new theoretical, instrumental and methodological solutions.

The Oceanic Domains Laboratory has recognized expertise in these areas. A research center in marine instrumentation and methodology, in charge of both methodological and instrumental developments and the implementation of the instrumental park of the laboratory, was created.

This division is divided into two groups and a joint technical team comprising all ITA and IATOS staff involved in the implementation and / or implementation of the equipment.
