I was hired as an assistant professor at the University of Western Britanny in 2012, after completing my PhD at the Station Biologique de Roscoff (Sorbonne Universités) and a postdoc at Rhodes University (Grahamstown, South Africa). My resarch focuses on understanding trophic relationships within marine ecosystems, from benthic primary consumers up to large marine predators. I use trophic biomarker-based approaches for this purpose, such as stable isotopes (C, N, S, Hg), lipids (fatty acids, sterols) or trace elements. I am also interested in other aspects of ecosystem functioning, and in particular on understanding the drivers of communities structure and composition, mostly because of a personal interest on benthic invertebrates taxonomy.

The main geographic areas where I work are Western Europe coastal areas, Mediterranean coastal lagoons, Mexican Pacific (Baja California), Gabon and Mayotte.
